BMG Music Service Launches Exclusive Music and Video Promotion With RCA Records and Longwave

NEW YORK, June 15, 2005

BMG Music Service and RCA Records announced a June promotion that will introduce New York City-based rock band Longwave to thousands of music fans. A limited number of club-exclusive EPs will be made available as part of the promotion to 500,000 club members in the modern rock listening preference. This special offer is being made before the June 28th release of Longwave's second album There's A Fire which will become available to club members at street date.

Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope Honors American Legends at Sold-Out Charity Dinner With Special Performance By The Who

NEW YORK, June 14, 2005

Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope, the innovative national goodwill program that benefits children and families, created a true 'Day of Hope' in New York City on June 13th with its 4th Annual charity gala. This year's event welcomed the philanthropic efforts of the newest members to the Samsung Four Seasons of Hope family: Ice hockey's greatest player of all time, Wayne Gretzky and former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani. The star-studded program also recognized the ongoing charitable efforts of sports legends Magic Johnson, Joe Torre, Boomer Esiason, and Arnold Palmer, in addition to music superstar Jon Bon Jovi. Attendees were treated to a special performance by legendary rock band The Who, featuring Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, who took the stage in their only U.S. appearance for 2005 to raise money for the roster of charities benefited by Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope.

Destiny's Child Bid Surprise Farewell to Fans at Barcelona Concert

Destiny's Child, one of the top-selling female pop vocal groups of all time, made a surprise announcement, before a crowd of 16,000 fans, on-stage at the Palau St. Jordi in Barcelona, Spain on Saturday, June 11. Group member Kelly Rowland said that the group's current "Destiny Fulfilled ... And Lovin' It" tour, presented by McDonalds, would be the last time they would perform together as Destiny's Child in Europe.
