JW Marriott Cancun Announces New Mayan-Inspired Spa Treatments

The JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa has announced their spa’s newest Mayan-inspired body treatments – the Chocolate Body Treatment and the Precious Elements Gold & Jade Treatment -- that incorporate chocolate, precious stones and exotic flowers into the guest experience.
The Chocolate Body Treatment, which uses techniques that date back several thousand years, is based on ancient traditions of the early Mexican emperors. Beginning with a Mayan prayer, the 80-minute treatment commences with an invigorating and refreshing cocoa body scrub, followed by a head to toe chocolate mask. This deliciously aromatic ritual leaves the skin delightfully soft and smooth.
The Precious Elements Gold & Jade Treatment combines the three prized elements in the Mayan culture: gold, jade and exotic flowers. This 2-hour treatment begins with a full body exfoliation using gold and floral essences, followed by a relaxing body wrap that replenishes and nourishes the skin. A gentle facial during the wrap will remove impurities and refine skin texture. Following is a 20-minute bath comprised of precious gold powder and flowers that facilitates detoxification and relaxation. The final step in this luxurious experience is an application of special jade, gold and flower oils that leave the skin glowing, hydrated and completely rejuvenated.
