AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today launched a sale for flights to all of the airline's destinations with fares starting as low as $39 each way. Travelers may purchase these sale fares at http://www.airtran.com/ or via AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800- AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.

These special fares are available for purchase May 31 through June 9, 2005, are good for travel through November 8, 2005, and are not valid for travel on Fridays or Sundays. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.

"Whether taking a trip to an exciting new destination or returning to an often-visited hometown, we're pleased to offer smart travelers this discount off our everyday low fares," said Matthew Klein, AirTran Airways director of revenue management.
