Each winner is showcased in the June issue of RTM (http://www.roadandtravel.com/ ) with a full review on why each number sizzles and satisfies. Test driving these sassy roadsters made RTM editors salivate, and succumb to the dance of seduction, an irresistible enticement indigenous to sexy two-seaters.
Eligibility and criteria are simple: pure sex appeal. "It's all about the look, the feel, the touch and the smell," says RTM's Editor-in-chief Courtney Caldwell. "Sports cars are about pure emotion and fantasy. Just looking at them inspires passion and stimulates erotic thoughts. Imagine what they do when you own one!" she muses.
Additionally, RTM has brought on new designer Trever Koltys to insert more pizzazz into the 6000-page online magazine. "We're very excited about finding Trever and adding him to our growing team," says Caldwell. "He brings the talent and experience RTM has been seeking to bring RTM to the next level of excitement, starting with our 2005 Sexy Car Buyer's Guide." And that he has!
RTM targets the average consumer as opposed to the enthusiast, with a slant towards upscale women, 29-54 -- and is considered a leading authority in the women's automotive and travel markets. Although its primary audience is women, RTM provides content and resources from which "all consumers" can make informed and intelligent decisions regarding their automotive purchases, travel plans and/or personal safety needs.
RTM projects 11 million impressions for 2005, an increase that more than doubles the 4.9 million recorded in 2004. RTM's unique visitor total is also expected to increase to 3.6 million in 2005 compared to 2.1 million in 2004 (Web Stats).
