Over 1,000 AARP members from Pennsylvania will make their way to Harrisburg to spend the day at the State Capitol lobbying for legislation on assisted living, unemployment compensation for older workers, and protecting the integrity of the PACE and PACENET programs on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. AARP Members will hear from Governor Ed Rendell and other members of the General Assembly.

Attending media will have the opportunity to hear remarks from the governor, state legislators, AARP state leaders, and personal testimonies from seniors. Immediately following the rally AARP members will visit legislative offices to further discuss passing legislation on AARP state issues.
