“DownTown Lama” Surya Das Coming to Chi-Town June 26, 2005

Lama Surya Das is a leading spokesman for Buddhism in the West and one
of the foremost Americans to be ordained within the Tibetan Dzogchen
lineage. Born Jeffrey Miller, Long Island, NY, he is the founder of the
Dzogchen Foundation, Cambridge, MA, and a sought-after spiritual
teacher, poet and translator active in interfaith dialogue and the
emerging American Buddhist community.

is coming to Chicago, IL, to speak on his national bestseller Awakening
the Buddah Within: Tibetan Wisdom for the Western World (Broadway
