To accompany the launch of the Tropical Tango smoothie, Orange Julius conducted an online survey of consumers to inquire about their thoughts on tropical fruit and the tango dance. The results bode well for the new drink as the survey revealed that pineapple, a key ingredient in Tropical Tango, was the most popular tropical fruit (36 percent). It was also discovered that most people (46 percent) ranked the tango as the classic dance that they would most like to learn, beating out other dances such as swing, waltz, and foxtrot.
