The Art Institutes Present Best Teen Chef Competition
PHILADELPHIA, May 13, 2005
Nineteen lucky high school seniors and superstar chefs of tomorrow are sharpening their culinary skills as they prepare to head into the Best Teen Chef 2005 competition on Saturday, May 14 at The Art Institute of Philadelphia.

At stake is a full scholarship worth at least $30,000 to study culinary arts at any of nineteen Art Institutes, as well as the prestigious title of Best Teen Chef. A total of $200,000 in scholarships will be awarded at the event.

For television media, this is a highly visual event opportunity. And, there's always compelling action in the kitchen during this time-bound competition. Cook-off finalists come from across the United States and Canada, from all walks of life, and with great stories to tell.

Media may follow cook-off finalists during any of the heats to film the action, and will have access to cook-off finalists, culinary instructors and expert judges before and after the heats for interview opportunities.
