TV Land, home to the best of everything television, and the city of Salem, today honored one of television's most enduring shows, Bewitched, with a nine-foot bronze sculpture of "Samantha Stephens" -- as portrayed by Elizabeth Montgomery. Bill Asher, the series' executive producer and director who was also married to the late actress -- was joined by cast members Bernard Fox, ("Dr. Bombay"), Erin Murphy ("Tabitha Stephens") and Kasey Rogers ("Louise Tate"), as well as Salem's Mayor Stanley J. Usovicz, Jr., and Larry W. Jones, President of TV Land and Nick at Nite, at the unveiling. The statue dedication took place among a crowd of nearly 2000 people at Salem's Lappin Park at the corner of Washington and Essex Streets.

Contemporary music legend Patti LaBelle returns to TV One this month for a new season of her series that offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look into her life, the places she loves and the latest lifestyle trends. New episodes of Living It Up with Patti LaBelle premiere beginning Friday, June 24 from 8-8:30 PM. Six new episodes will premiere each Friday at 8, repeating Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:30 PM (all times ET). Seven additional episodes are scheduled to premiere in fall 2005.

It wouldn't be July 4th weekend without something new from movie and music superstar Will Smith, and this year TV One's got him -- in an exclusive interview with TV One on One host Catherine Hughes that premieres Thursday, June 30 from 8-9 PM (ET). The special will repeat on Friday, July 1 at midnight and Saturday, July 2 at 5 PM (all times ET).

Grammy-award winning songwriter/producer Desmond Child has completed production on the first singles to be released from "American Idol 4" winner Carrie Underwood, and runner-up Bo Bice. Carrie's single "Inside Your Heaven" written by Andreas Carlsson, Pelle Nyhlen, and Savan Kotecha with the B-side, "Independence Day" (originally recorded by Martina McBride and written by Gretchen Peters), will be released June 14th. Bo Bice's first single (released June 21st) is "Vehicle" (the '70's hit from Ides of March). Bo's B-side is his version of "Inside Your Heaven," which he also sang on the "Idol" final telecast.

Sundance Channel and Grey Goose Entertainment announced today initial pairings for the original television series "Iconoclasts," an hour-long program in which two leading innovators from different fields come together to discuss their passions and creative processes. The participants are chef Mario Batali on musician Michael Stipe, fashion designer Tom Ford on artist Jeff Koons, author Jonathan Safran Foer on filmmaker Michel Gondry, actor Samuel L. Jackson on basketball player Bill Russell, and producer Brian Grazer on Viacom Chairman and CEO Sumner Redstone. The limited primetime series will air weekly on Sundance Channel beginning in November 2005.

Thousands of guests filled the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, California, last night for the 33rd American Film Institute (AFI) Life Achievement Award honoring George Lucas. The two-hour special event, executive produced and written by Bob Gazzale and directed and co-produced by Louis J. Horvitz, was taped for telecast on USA Network on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Widely regarded as the highest honor for a career in film, the black-tie tribute celebrated Lucas' extraordinary career with many of his colleagues, friends and family present. Steven Spielberg presented Lucas with the honor at evening's end.

"The DOODLEBOPS," a vibrant new music-focused series joins Disney Channel's popular learning-based Playhouse Disney programming block, weekdays beginning MONDAY, APRIL 11 (7:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., ET/PT). "The DOODLEBOPS" uses the power of music and rhyming to help preschoolers strengthen their language and literacy skills. It also conveys concepts of cooperation and other pro-social behavior to help parents better socialize their preschoolers. James Cameron, Oscar-winning writer/director/producer of the blockbuster film Titanic, will make his last trip to the doomed ship this summer as part of an unprecedented television event. LAST MYSTERIES OF THE TITANIC, a poignant farewell to the most spectacular shipwreck in history, will have its world premiere Sunday, July 24th at 9 PM on Discovery Channel.
