Standard Federal To Host Free Home Buying Seminars
TROY, Mich., June 14, 2005
Standard Federal Bank will hold free home buying seminars at four locations this summer to teach potential buyers how to select and finance a home.

An experienced lending officer will provide tips on the home buying process, including how to set a housing budget, understanding credit reports, and managing the mortgage application process.

Upon completion of the seminar, participants will receive certificates entitling them to apply for a mortgage loan under Standard Federal's Community Home Buyer's Program. The program is designed to make home ownership more affordable for people with low- to moderate-incomes and offers many benefits, such as modified guidelines, smaller down payments and other less restrictive terms.
