An experienced lending officer will provide tips on the home buying process, including how to set a housing budget, understanding credit reports, and managing the mortgage application process. Upon completion of the seminar, participants will receive certificates entitling them to apply for a mortgage loan under Standard Federal's Community Home Buyer's Program. The program is designed to make home ownership more affordable for people with low- to moderate-incomes and offers many benefits, such as modified guidelines, smaller down payments and other less restrictive terms.
