Kids will learn Lake County history with "Mastodon Adventure Hunt" offered June 13, "Native American Stories and Crafts" offered June 14, "Native American Tools" offered June 15, "French Fur Traders" offered June 16 and "Pioneer Homesteads and Games" offered June 17. Sign up your kids for one day or for the full week. Hip High Historians is $9 ($8 for Lake County residents) for one session or $36 ($32 for Lake County residents) for the full week. Hip High Historians will meet from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. To register, call 847-968-3321. The Lake County Discovery Museum is located near Wauconda on Rt. 176, west of Fairfield Road. Financial aid is available to attend Forest Preserve summer camps. To request an application, call 847-968-3321.
