| mrspr.com >Home Releases Career Development SkillSoft Releases Russian Business Skills Courses NASHUA, N.H., June 1, 2005 Partnership with Noviy Disk to Deliver 30 Courses by Year End SkillSoft PLC (NASDAQ:SKIL) , a leading provider of content resources and complementary technologies for integrated enterprise learning, today announced that it has released four business skills courses localized in Russian and has plans to deliver a total of 30 courses by end of 2005. The Russian courses are being developed in partnership with Noviy Disk, the largest distributor of educational software in Russia and a leading publisher of interactive learning resources. Courses currently available cover call center communications, handling conflict, and planning and conducting effective business meetings. Courses slated for later release cover project management, customer service, performance management, finance, and management and supervisory skills. SkillSoft's development and localization agreement with Noviy Disk is an extension of a reseller agreement, established in 2003. The company, headquartered in Moscow, has more than 150 employees including a dedicated localization team for SkillSoft courses. Noviy Disk focuses its sales on local and international corporations; current customers include VimpelCom and Megafon, two of Russia's largest mobile telecommunication companies.
